Brushless Motor & Solder Gun

Hey Guys,
While desoldering my connectors off of a dead motor, check out what happens.. Would that be single phasing?..

LOL

Yup, the difference in voltage between the two points on the resistive soldering tip makes it possible to cause a short circuit into the motor, only a small current im sure. Better watch out though, you could overload the coil inside the soldering iron...

really will it overload the solder gun, even though that the ends are closed circuits...

Well, probably not, you would most likely have to do that for a awhile...
