Nice! HV! I was just waiting for the front tires to rip apart, and a couple times I thought they might have but it was just debris. Need some thicker oil, heh!

I wish it came with a locked center differential.... I'm too lazy to tear it apart and lock it... One day I willl... :)

Yeah one day soon cause I don't think those tires are going to hang on to life much longer

Perdy powerful Aqwut, my canadian eskimo friend :yipi:

Yup, those front tires are going to commit suicide soon.

Those were some nice pizzacutters!

Those 2 minutes of running, the packs drew almost 900mAh.. so I'm guessing about 8 minutes of extreme running with 3700mah on 12S... Motor runs about 60-70 Deg. C. with 12S, and 8S is about 50 Deg. C... It's a really nice motor on 8S... 12S is pushing it a bit...

great stuff! 12s... which esc do you use?

add some weight to the front, eg. some balancing-lead from car wheels and put it on the front bumper. maybe you can place the components more to the front. it helps with the wheeling, and gives you some better steering. I had to do that w/ my buggy, due to truggy-wheels and the short buggy chassis there was too much wheeling. when jumping it's still ok. is there the possibility to add silicon oil to the center diff? I had 100k oil which helped a lot (now have a torsen).

again, great truck!

thanks.. Esc I'm using is the HW 12S100A ESC it runs awesome ...! I won't be able to move anything forward because everything is so packed in, and that truck is perfectly balanced for bashing. What's the thickest diff oil they make.. I think it's a torsen center differential on this as well...

florianz 07.20.2009 09:12 AM

are you sure about the torsen? I don't think so. Are you sure that It has a center differential? I guess It has a gearing in the center, but not a diff. But I'm not an expert on monster trucks.

the HW seems to be a great esc for HV, you use the mechanical breaks I guess?

the lead in the front just helps to keep the nose down ;-)
different to nitros, I have learned that for bl it's good to have a bit more weight in the front. especially w/ big tires like trucks have.

thick diffoils are eg. 100.000 like kyosho has them.

There's an actual center differential inside the transmission of the GST, and it's geared too... but what I know for certain is that I have to lock it.. Yes, I always like to use mechanical brakes... just saves the ESC so much work..

Anyone know if there is an decent brushless conversion kit for the Nemesis/Genesis/GST available? I admire these custom CNC machined projects, but I want a bolt-on solution if available...
