I have always wondered why is this smilie :intello: is called "intello"?

Also this one :mdr: "mdr"

Good question...I have wondered that myself

As have I...

I am guessing the "intello" refers to the glasses, as all intelligent people wear glasses (me included).

As far as "mdr" goes... I have no idea...

Anyone know who came up with those?

I never figured those for glasses, but that makes sense.
