Series Wiring

http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r...BE/ERBE_10.jpg

See that picture... that was how i had my batteries wired up before. I'm rewiring things now w/ the new ESC. The question is... was there anything wrong with how things were wired before?? I didn't think so, nor did I see any other way to do it. If anything, maybe a wire or two was an inch or less too long, but that shouldn't be a problem right???

Notice that rear wire is laid across the rear shocks. Is there another way??? I never had a problem with that wire. If anything, the red wire on the bottom would yank itself out from time to time, but never the others.

I tried to wire up 10G wiring to the Traxxas ends last night, and it's a BEAR to do. I gave up. The wire is just super thick, and it's hard to solder onto the tab for some reason, and it barely fits inside the connector. I think I'm sticking with bullets. It's MUCH easier. I have some CC 6.5mm bullets now, so that will be easy to do.

after looking very closely at your wiring, i didn't notice any problems. it threw me off at first because a series adapter for bullet plugs is so much simpler than a traditional one.

yup, all the wiring is good to go.

Do your lipos have the male or female bullet connector on them?

both, one side of the lipo pack is male the other is female, it only allows the lipos to be plug in one way. Wiring is good to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you end up getting teh new pinion gear you wanted?
