RC for 3yr old ?
What is a good rc truck for my 3yr old that will hold up well and has a top speed of 10 to 15 mph ...Everything I have has way too much power for him and the new mini revo is too much money, is there anything in the 100 or less catagory or am I dreaming ?
traxxas slash on training mode is about the best you can get
you are dreaming. just lower the power output of whatever you got. my friends son was driving nitro Monster GT when he was 4 :) and was very annoyed that his wheely king is so slow.
Buy a crawler, plenty slow and plenty fun. The new AX10RTR is a nice choice.
Get him a wheelie king.

ultimate hobbies has the duratrax evader, rtr for $79, for the money I don't see how you could beat esp for a 3 year old since most of the chassis parts have a 1 year warranty. Only downfall is I don't think it has bearings, but that could be a good father son project, tear down put bearings in. I have talked a couple guys at work in to picking one up for their sons as a starter.http://www.ultimatehobbies.com/istar...N%2FA&subsize= This seems like a pretty rockin deal too, for a rtr truck with bearings, alum shocks,

Those are some great deals junkman.
get him a stampede. you cant go wrong.
They do have a brushed version of the mini revo. Its still $200 but cheaper then the vxl one.
i think the slash on 6cell and training mode is a good choice. Cost effective and parts availability is good. Its also VERY tough!

For a 3 year old and younger crawlers are definitely the way to go. They don't have the best control so they run into stuff all the time and get bored if it stops. So when it just crawls right over the top they love it. A mate bought his son a few cars but the one that his son liked the most was the losi mini rock crawler.
You guys spoil your kids; when I was that age or there abouts, all I had to play with were cheap 'toysRus' type vehicles that ran on 4x D cells and went about 5mph tops. That said, it got me into real RC after several years. Cant help thinking any hobbygrade rc will end up being a project for the dad to play with (repair and upgrade) since the son will crash it every 5 minutes in all likely hood.

My son is three and likes the crawlers over anything else. He can actually drive it which helps immensely being able to crawl over everything extends his interest.
