Extending switch leads on MMM?

As the title states, will anything bad come out of this?

You can cut solder extend cut or anything you want to them as long as you dont solder directly to the circuit bored and it will not void the warranty. I have extended mine and put on a different switch and its working great.

It's fine to extend them

I know that, but i thought i saw a post about the resistance of the circuit (with longer wires) messing with the esc?

I believe that was an issue with the older V2 escs, as per the info Patrick posted in the refurbished MMM thread (after I asked about adding a switch).
