Slipper clutch adjustment

does a to loose or to tight slipper adjustment can create more heating issue on the motor and/or esc ?

If you have your slipper too loose it will slip too easily, leading to excess friction and heat issues. Keeping the slipper tighter will remedy the heat issues, but your drivetrain will be more likely to get abused during hard landings and impacts. The key is finding the sweet spot that is in between.

As far as the slipper adjustment causing excess heat in the motor/ESC I'm not really sure.

If the slipper is excessively loose the motor will run warmer due to high revs, will also prematurely wear out slipper pads.
