Slipperential question!

Guys, I have just installed a slipperential in my SC8 and have one or two questions.

The set screw that gets threaded into the Adjustment Ring (AR), mine seems to be hanging out too far, so far in fact that it is hitting the chassis. What am I doing wrong as I have it threaded into the AR as far as it will go.

The top plate on the center diff will not install properly after installing the slipperential as the casing is too large. Have you guys simply modded the center top plate to work around this issue?

Thanks guys!

Did you receive my email to the same question?

I used to run 7-10-3 on my truggy but have recently gotten the slipperential to try out. My question is:
Do u all go on thicker diff oil in the Center after using the Slipper or generally stick to the same diff oil as before?

Run the same oils as you used to run with the stock diffs. The diff in the slipperential should give you very similar driving characteristics as your stock diff (probably exactly the same). The only difference being the added benefit of the slipper clutch to tune a bit of low end punch and absorb shocks to the drivetrain.
