maximum volt brushless tekin
motor Tekin redline (scale1:8) T8 2250KV for no problem = Volt Max and Amp continuos?
|
Should never have a problem on 5s lipo, after that you start flirting with bearing limitations and heat. 6s would be ok for short speed runs but otherwise I would stay away from it. 4s should get the job done though and keep things cool
|
Ideal = 4s lipo
Awesome power = 5s lipo Speed runs = 6s lipo The absolute max it can handle according to the rpm ratings (guessing 60krpm?) would be 7s lipo, but I can't see the motor liking that in anyway. Bearings might overheat, and rotor is very stressed... Oh, and we can't really tell you the current, because it varies on how many cells, and Tekin, as far as I know, don't mention the current ratings for their motors. It should be similar to a Neu current rating, 1512 = Tekin buggy, and 1515 = Tekin truggy motors. |
thanks!
should intervene tekin |

You are crazy motha man! Crazy!
I would like to see a 2200Kv. motor on 8s lipo, now THAT would be a sight! 65,000rpm, should be fine for speed runs, or that top speed challenge they have coming up. |
For the top speed challenge I'd like to see a 1527/1D (2300kv) on 8s :lol:

A rep from Tekin support told me (via email) that 6s on the 2250kv motor would be alright ... don't worry about it ;) i will test it out shortly .. i'll let u know
