Mamba Max and Velineon
 

I just got a velineon and I want to hook it to a mamba max. The mamba has 4mm bullets and the velineon has 3.5mm plugs. So my question is which plugs should I change. Im assuming I should swap the 3.5mm to 4mm. Is it ok to shorten the wires on the velineon motor?

you are correct on both, the shorter the wires the better

It will make no odds but no need to shorten wires - Just unsolder and re-solder new connections...
