breaking in
durring a break in of a nitro car do you have to change a spark / glow plug after every break in run???:013:
I ran the same glow plug for the break in and a little while after. I wouldn't change it unless you are done with break in or it fouls out.
so your saying regardless of its engin size and type you dont have to change a spark plug after every run....../glowplug... you dont have to change it afet every tank?
Nope - I do all my break ins - At least 6 or 7 tanks, with the same glow plug.
ok thanks for the REAL information because i was told WRONG information
i was also told that on the 2.5 most commonly on the revo...do you have to change the spark plugs after every break in tank:013: :035:
on the 2.5 I had I broke it in and ran a few tanks after than on a the same glow plug.
For the most part - even after break-in - I, like coolhandcountry, also ran it longer (till I noticed it starting to get harder to start and such....). Why replace it if its not broken...
thats stupid changing it after every tank, who ever told you that is wrong. Just change it when it dies.
I agree..
thanks for the info guys
pro noblem
I have 30 runs on my truck and I am using the stock plug, so No you dont have to change it unless it goes bad, Seems like most have to change it during break in cause it goes out.
I just broke in my new REVO 3.3 6-Tanks and it's still running strong. It's always good to have a spare incase.
Yup...Same here. I'm up to 10 tanks or so on mine and its just like new. The 3.3 is a BEAST...
