For bashing on the street I run a Hyperion G3 3300 mAh 6s pack in my 8ight, using the Tekin 1900kv buggy motor. Loads of fun. Very fast, long runtimes, and cool temps.

Yeah, it's just a matter of choosing a motor that is suitable. Most people shoot for ~35k rpm. At 6s, that would be a kv of around 1600. The Tekin 1400kv buggy motor would be perfect IMO, and Mike has 2 in stock (as I type this).

I will be running 6s with 1500 kv motor in my new buggy.

My 6s 5000 is about 800grams is it alright?

A bit heavy IMO, I try to stay around 500g for buggy batts, my new one is only 420g
