iPhone/itouch RC applications... Ideas please!

Hey guys :). Do you guys have any cool RC aplications or anything? I have a gearing app and also found one called lipolog that you can enter ur battery data and then it gives a bit of a graph of you battery life and stuff...

I was asking if the fella made any other stuff for cars and trucks and he then asked what I was looking for and he'd see what he can do about creating some!

So I'm stuck for ideas now.. So what useful apps do you guys wanna see out there??

Problem with a Castle Link port would be a cable to connect the iPod to the Castle Link.

I believe theres an app like it already but something for measuring speed. I mean just strap your phone on it and make a couple passes and it records data. I believe my friend has an app like that that measures 0-60 and gs and stuff in his car but I dont really know so just an idea

I would have to be WAY more confident in my driving skills to strap a $200 phone to my E-Revo!

dood - my iphone is just shy of a grand here!! bloody ridiculous - glad i got it on a plan and the business pays it all -lol-

ive seen a few similar apps to the g-force ones, but never realised it had an accelerometer in it tho - always kinda figured they worked off the gps - anything that works off that on my phone cant be trusted 80% of the time -lol-

Shouldn't be a problem. My iPhone came with a cable that plugs into the bottom of the phone and a USB plug on the other end. Live streaming Internet radio through my car stereo is so nice.

I use the free app called "units" its a conversion calc. Mostly safari to hit RCM!

BrianG should turn his top spd calc into an app. He's clearly not busy enough. Charge a buck a he would be riach :)

Yes but that cable uses a type-A USB connector while the Castle Link uses a mini-b connector.

Oh, I'm busy enough. I have several projects in the works just waiting for funds. Lots of ideas and no cash and time. Bad combination. And anyway, I don't have, nor do I plan to get an iPhone/iTouch anytime in the near future. Besides, aren't these devices web-enabled? If so, why not just go to the website? Saves me having to build and compile new versions all the time. The web version is easy and fast to update.
