Need direction on the thread containing

The Info that Patrick del Castillo provided on the ripple voltage being a problem on the MMM. I have searched through about 60 pages of threads and can't find it. Also any other pertinent info on the subject of batteries internal impedance being a problem.

I recently ran into a problem with my industrial controls that have a failure mode related to this and have built a circuit to keep this from happening (in my case anyway), I'll see if it will work for the MMM as well.

Blurgh, that info is burried several pages back. I would go to his profile page & look through Patrick's posts to find the info probably- he doesnt post a whole amount so it shouldnt take too long to wade through them all.

You'd be suprised he has 706 posts. That's how I started, just hope someone remembers a specific thread. I'm going to keep looking.

Not really about ripple rather braking but it might help:neutral:

Any help there?

ripple current is the correct terminology to use I believe, being caused by batteries not up to the task

Another good one.

I am looking for information based on "bad" batteries, cause and what is happening to each component during failure. Ripple current and voltage are 2 different things but would be inversley proportional to one another. In my case I know what the cause and effect and fix are I am just trying to see if it can be modified to fit this application.

I haven't read through much of it to check, but I think it might have been this one http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...ight=zippy%27s
