Can mamba max use sensored motor?

I was thinking to use my mamba max on 1/8 n 1/10 but can I use sensored motor but wo using the sensor wire. Can?

Yes, you can. Some sensored motors were designed in such a way that they sometimes have a difficult time starting up smoothly on sensorless ESCs, so you might get cogging.

the higher rpm motor will start off better then a high turn, say a 6.5 will be good but a 17.5 will most likely not run well, i have ran a 6.5 on the ez run 60a and could not tell the difference between that and my lrp system i have now

With the higher turn motors, it can help to increase the start power to "tickle" the motor a little harder on startup.

I tried racing stock touring with the mamba max and the novak 17.5. Half the time the motor starts in reverse before going forward. Basically the person starting behind me ran into me and costed both of us a lap. It's really hard to start those high turn novak style motors, especially when you have to have a final drive ratio of 4:1 or lower. I have a MM pro in the mail as we speak! Will post a full review after the next rece which is this coming wednesday.
