Beetlejuice V2 Berg
Here is my lastest Berg rebuild. You can pick a number because I have done many in the past year.
I have previously run the Kamikaze's 3.5 chassis & the Zero-T chassis. And in the last 3 months I have competed with a T1E RockShow chassis. I don't know much about crawlers but that truck looks sick! Way to go Doug! Like the tires!
|
Nice! The red accents are pretty neat.
|
Thanks guys
Those tires are the fairly new Panther Leopards. I can hardly wait to comp with it for the first time this weekend. |

Got the updated sideplates and angled skidplate. Works so much better with my T1E high clearance rear links. Has few more link & shock mount positions as well. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3018.jpg |
Looking good - I should bring my rig to charlotte sometime

We have event #4 of our Fall series on Saturday Dec. 5th. And the following Saturday on Dec. 12th we head to Stone Mtn, GA for the @nd Annual Crawl 4 Kids. |
Well the BeetleJuiceV2 is now a V3 with a new steering kit to boot.
I was able to pick up the smaller lipo's I wanted, Hyperion G3 850mah/3S lipo for $16.89 each. I thought that was a helluva deal. ____________________________________ http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3080.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3081.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3083.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3085.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3086.jpg I think the black one looks best (see below) http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN0807.jpg |
Looking good but you need to get the battery fwd - I'm adapting a t1e battery skid to fit the v3 - it's worth doing.

You mean like this ?? :sarcastic: http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3060.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3062.jpg ____________________________________________ I've went round and round over keeping the battery mounted forward. And I do agree it is is more than likely best place for it. However, I have watched Rooster put his V1 Rockshow in the finals at LRC & Crawlin4Kids with a battery much larger than mine on his rear axle tray. But yeah, I know better. :oh: ____________________________________________ |
Yup that looks good. Still wondering about cutting over from t1e - I think they will both perform well.
Need to decide if I go stick and dual fxrs or stay with punk dig. Decisions decisions. |
Pps where are your rovers?

Changes to the V3 BeetleJuice
I have made a few minor changes to my BeetleJuice to lower the overall COG. Small changes to the shock mounting position allowed all fours wheel to touch when upside down now. Shorter Traxxas upper links in the rear lowered cog by less clock.
I also added some fresh HW Fantom motors and 86JeepDesigns Steering. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...9/DSCN3125.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...DSCN3128-1.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...DSCN3147-1.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...DSCN3144-1.jpg Quote:
I never knew what that meant  |
