Fastlane extendet arm problem!
 

Hallo boys i have a problem with flm extended arm, in the kit i have found this item...
but I can not understand how to mount. I also have a problem with the tie-rod, the original ones are too short!

I would assume that is for the upper arm. I would think you would need the HPI Adj Arm kit for the Savage. As far as tie rods, you will need longer. Too bad they are not included in the kit, or at least some directions on what to use. I wonder if Revo buckles would be long enough.

Personally I use HPI hellfire 5mm turnbuckles and HPI ends (same ends that go on the adj arm kit, also used in the hellfire as rod ends.)

I don't like the stock 4mm rods and ends. I found them to be weak and stretch out easily and make sloppy steering. Its a bit of overkill, but it works really well. In the pic I have them as the str rods, while the rear rods are still stock.

If I bought the ext arms, I would use the 75mm M5 hellfire turnbuckles and rod ends. 70mm may work, but its easier to buy long and trim the ends as needed. There are M4 80mm buckles if you prefer those. They may work, depending on the length of the rod end.

I am assuming you tried those as the turnbuckles and they are too short...

They actually look like the lower arm to hub pins (replaces the pins with the c-clips). Very similar to the pins that came with my integy rear hubs.

I was thinking about that too later (as it had nuts w/ it.) Hard to see why tho. The upright is still stock, so the old pins should work fine.

I'd rather him include the necc turnbuckles than an extra part that doesn't need fixing.

The problem is the original steering-link, is too short (sorry for my english), really i don't understand...
