Removing mechanical brakes on Aftershock
 

I am thinking about removing the mechanical brakes on my Aftershock, and move the battery tray up front and the esc back, to get a better weight distribution.

But do I just remove the servo for the brakes, or shall I do some more?

You can do that, or you can also take the diff assembly apart and pull out the disc's too.

As Jeff stated you can do either...on all of my conversions I have removed all of the brake parts...discs, etc. to make a cleaner conversion.
