which version did I get?

HI
I bought my second MMM on e-bay. He came not in it's original package but seems brand new and have all the box ingredients. How can I get if it's V3? my other MMM is V3 and it has bullet connectors for battery leads. On this one the battery leads are soldered to the esc:surprised:

That's the newest model V3.

What I've been wondering is how to identify the V4 that was mentioned in a post awhile back. I sent in a V1 and got a new one returned about a month ago so is there any way to identify these new versions?

Meanwhile, we continue to improve the controller as we see different failure modes, and make it more and more bulletproof. Nobody even knows that we are now shipping Version 4 of the MMM -- with a few minor changes to make them more reliable. Version 5 should be shipping the end of the year, with even more changes to improve reliability. Version 6 is in layout now, and will bring some more features, and more idiotproofness (that should be a word in the dictionary!) to the MMM.

There isn't any way to tell a V4 from a V3 -- it was just a minor part change.

V1 = wires for battery and motor side
V2 = bullets for battery and motor side.
V3 = wires for battery, bullets for motor.
V4 = same as V3.

This question keeps on getting asked, think it should be stickied really ( not that people will read it, but I live in hope... :lol: ).
