What ive been doing

Well I havent made a new thread here in a while. So I guess I will:lol:

Im pretty much doing nothing but racing anymore. On road to. Got out of off road.

So I run touring car, and soon 12th scale to. Got some sponsorships, and getting wins! Looooovvveeeee the racing scene!

Car is a Schumacher Mi4, Futaba 9551 low pro servo, 4PK radio, Fasst antenna-less RX, LRP SPX, Trinity duo motor, and thunderpower and SMC 40C 5000 mah packs. Car has been anodized black, ESC blacked out, sadly cant black the motor though. Or I wont get through tech:cry:
:na:

Looks nice! I can't imagine the reasoning behind not allowing you to change the color of the motor... Could you at least wrap electrical tape around the visible parts?

BlackedOutREVO 11.11.2009 12:35 AM

Thanks!

Well I ran the novak ballistic motor which is completely blacked out. But I like the duo motor better.

Im waiting on the new speed passion V3 motors to come in stock so I can get a 4.5, and 2 13.5's. Those are cool motors!

And its a ROAR thing. At club races I can get away with making it black, but anywhere else i cant

lets see some videos of it in action!

I can understand, they couldn't have you sneaking in a MM and feigao motor and wiping the floor with the slovak/clones that roar allows...

Nice looking car, and I like the radio wrap too, very slick. I would like a 4pk, but cannot justify replacing the m11/m8 I have.

BlackedOutREVO 11.11.2009 06:07 PM

Ryan, I need a dang vid camera LOL. I will have to see who has one I can use

Linc, Well technically the duo's are feigao based. But yeah, copies of novak. Its a shame, but thats the only way I can race. So gotta do what I gotta do.

Thanks! I love my 4PK. I had a 3pk before, much nicer feeling. Very comfortable. But for sure, airtronics is good stuff! The M11X is a sick radio to

How do you like the servo? i was thinking about getting that exact servo for my Lazer zx-sp to make a little more room for my electronics. (would like to lay the Rx down but i cant with my ds1015 servo in there)

BlackedOutREVO 11.11.2009 06:11 PM

Ohh they kick arse! I have always ran the futaba low pro servos. The new BLS551 is pretty crazy to! Low pro brushless servo. But the 9551's work fine! I ran a 9550 in my Cat SX fine. So either of the 3 will fit your needs

Thats a pretty slick setup! Wish my vintage t/c looked that nice, although its fitting I suppose as it looks about as nice as my driving. LOL

Thanks:mdr:

Haha it takes some time to get the wire job dialed. I wire all my buddies cars in my area. So I get good practice:yes:

Just so you guys can see where I started with this car...

New radio, servo. Blacked out the ESC, blacked the car. The list goes on and on

Sweet car you have. I love on road touring cars...just not a big fan of the belts.

BlackedOutREVO 11.12.2009 10:29 PM

Whats wrong with belts?

Shaft driven stuff is junk. Torque steer is no good in racing lol.
