Slayer Convert "Redneck Special"

I've ben bitten by the SC truck bug again and this time it's terminal. I scored a roller in fantastic condition with quit a few hops for cheap and installed all my stuff; RCM mount, M.M.M., 1/8 scale CD from MisterCrash,Locked in 2nd gear, buggy wheels, JR 9000T, JR8411. No idea whats in the diffs or shocks, (who ever privously owned it set it up perfect for my driving style and track, how lucky,go figure?)
I had it on the track a couple times already but with a HV6.5 and considering it's much higher CG I enjoy driving it as much as my Hyper9E. With the tried and true M.M.M. it should be a HELLA fun truck.Running 4s 30C Zippys geared for 41MPH thanks to Mr. BrianG's wonderful Calculator.

I'm still looking for a small receiver box, haven't had much luck ? I tried a RPM AE-GT box but I want something shorter. Open for suggestions ?

Re: small rx box- what about doing a cut & shut on the one that was just a bit too long? Sure you could rejoin the 2 halfs by melting/ fusing them with a soldering iron & old tip, or epoxy resin...

Great idea Neil, I'd rather hunt for somthing that'll work. If I come up w/nothing it'll defintely be a option. Thankyou.

For now I've taken extra plug ends and filled the wire holes w/Thick CA and inserted in empty plug holes to keep dirt out.
