FMA Balance Pro Charger Won't Charge
I have had my Balance pro HD 6s 10a charger for close to a year now. It has charged everything I have thrown at it until about a few days ago. I was going to stop the charge at 80%, but it never got there. After a few hours, I checked the pack and it hadn't changed in voltage since I started the charge. Everything appears as it is charging and working properly, but the packs won't charge.
I figured out how to hook it up to the computer. I took a picture of the charger hooked up to packs in charge mode, with the "fast charge" light on like it always is. http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7302116.jpg http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7302119.jpg Here is my 6s2p 10ah turnigy lipo. Where it says CURRENT= xxa/xxa, I think the amp number on the left is what the charger is set for and the number on the right is what the charger is outputting to the battery. http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7302115.jpg And here is my 2s1p 610mah rhino lipo http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7302120.jpg I hooked up a multimeter to the amperage setting and like the computer says, I'm not getting any amperage. http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7302118.jpg Here is a picture of the charger working last week with teh big 6s pack. I had a take the fan out of the spud gun and place it on the power supply because it was getting hot charging at 7.5a. It barely gets warm now. http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/S7302112.jpg I tried adjusting the voltage on the power supply. I haven't tried checking the amps from the ps to the charger. I've tried just one of the 6s packs. The 2s and those two 6s packs are all I have at the moment. What do you think is the problem? |
sounds like it died.
