zippy flightmax question
 

i've got a friend who just got 2 flightmax packs, and he wants to know if they fit in the stock 3905 chassis?

he's a firefighter, and is on duty for the next couple of days and won't be able to go back home to check. Can anyone confirn that they fit in the 3905 chassis?

What mah, and what discharge rating? There are so many lipos on that site it would be impossible say without knowing...

That said, if they are 2s 5000mah, they should fit just fine- no larger really than a normal 6cell nimh...

it's a 2S 40C 5000mah pack. it's a little wider than a normal 6 cell nimh. it's just a hair too wide in a slash, (which is what was on display at the lhs.)

Meh, I dont think it'll be a problem.

Funny thing though, very few users of stock chassis'd emaxxes around here, its all aftermarket or custom :lol:

i tried the traxxas forum, but haven't gotten any replies. man, that e-maxx place has really dried up since you left.

the battery is 1 7/8" inches wide if anyone can measure their stock tray, it would really help.
