Need lots of help on the internet!
Hey everybody, my high school(and more specifically, my robotics team) hosts a battle of the bands twice a year in order to earn money so that we can compete.(the entry fee alone for a competition is $4500). While sets are being changed, We play rock and metal music videos on a huge projector and through the performing arts center's massive sound system(somewhere around 30,000watts I believe). Then, people can use their iPod Touch or iPhone to vote for the next played music video, wirelessly!
The only snag I have, is that all the videos I obtained need to have clean lyrics. not FCC clean, but 100% clean. no bad words. I have two lists of music videos that need to be determined whether they are clean or not. The best way is to just google a song's lyrics. So do you think you can help out? any little bit of contribution will help me out alot! even if it is just scanning through the list and doing the ones you know off the top of your head, or doing just 1 song, it all helps. If you do want to help, it is simple. look at a song in the list. if it has a bad word, put BAD infront of it. if it is good, put CLEAN infront of it. example: CLEAN Disturbed - Stricken.mpeg BAD System of a Down - BYOB.mpeg Any help would be greatly appreciated! http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0Ad...o2Yjdjeg&hl=en http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0Ad...NramprZg&hl=en |
I did a few. Good luck with the event! I think that's really cool how you can vote for the next song with an iPod or iPhone.
Brijar!!! |
thanks! also, for the winner, the audience can text in their votes to a 5 digit number, and we get the results instantly

I updated a bunch of them. Mostly from http://www.sing365.com/index.html in case you were wondering...
With Rammstein - if they curse in German does that count? |

because it is a "school fundraiser" by law it can't have bad language. I find it quite rediculous... I mean, the kids will say that crap anyways, its not like they would be learning any new ones... |
True. It's just to protect the school from the over-protective parents......who, most likely, wouldn't let their kid go to something like that anyways.
Most "adults" (read: over 32) would say that if music sounds mean, angry, or otherwise offends their ears, that it is "profane". Regardless of the lyrics. |
I did some soad,, might do some more later. Where did you get the live Big Day Out 2002 soad songs? I downloaded the videos but just the audio for the ipod would be awesome..

What about the poor shlubs that don't have an iphone? By What's_nitro?'s std I just became an adult this year and I have neither an iphone nor ipod touch lol...

If cutting people up and killing them is clean, then Slayer's angel of death, war ensamble, and dead skin mask are all clean. Altar of sacrifice isn't though..
