Mamba Max Wire Guage

I have an older Mamba Max and was wanting to know if 10 guage wire will fit the holes on the board. Unless the 13 guage would be ok just shortened with my setup. MM, NEU 1509 (2400kv) 3s LiPo, six pound buggy.

Thanks for any info.

i think so.
if cleaned correctly.
i once re-wired a mamba max with deans wet noodle wire which i think is 10 guage.

I know the 12ga Wet Noodle wire will work, but I don't think that the 10 ga will fit. Make sure you have a hot iron as the traces will suck the heat out of the iron and transfer it right through the FET's and to the heatsink.

It comes with 13GA, 12 GA can work if you tightly twist the end prior to tinning. 10GA is just too big without modding (tinning the end and then dremeling it smaller).

Ok, thanks. I think I'll just shorten the current wires first and see how it does.

actually 12awg can fit without the need of a solder sucker or desolder. 12 gauge should be plenty enough IMHO...
