Which diff setup for the Mini STe
Hi all,
I just wonder which diff setup you think will be better for bashing (grass and forest track) I have 2000, 5000, 7000, 12500, 30k and 50k I read good things about front 5k, center 5k, rear 2k What do you think ? |
diffs
hay Rexasso, im running the rcm chassis with 1/10 truck tires so im running 1k rear,5k center,3k front .It seems to do well against other minis on the track but less well against 1/10 4wd buggies.some of the fast guys out on the left coast are just running 1k in the crt.5, My truck turns well in but tends to straighten along the center line with too much tip in throttle so it can be hard to drive smoothly and i find i have to jently let it square up before i add to much gas ,good luck and have fun!

Thanks for your message
I think I will try 1 / 3 / 5 (rear/mid/front) |
Traditionally diff weights are written front/center/rear. No big deal, but it took me a second to realize that you were listing backwards from that. LOL
I ran mine with 2f/3c/1r and like it alot. Very driveable and easy to control on the track. Last summer at the RC-Monster Bash I won the CRT.5 class with the Mini STe bone stock with that diff setup on it. Fun truck. |
