Ballistic rotor choices

Hello, I have been planning on upgrading my 10th scale motors for a little while and basically decided to "build a ballistic" motor for each. I am currently running a 17.5 in a T4, and 5.5 and 5.5L in a B44.

I was probably going to get the same turn motors, maybe just a 5.5L stator, but I'm not sure on what the advantages and dis - advantages are of the different rotors. So 12.3mm is standard, but I can get a 13mm, and a 14mm, and then theres some 12.3 that's stronger?

I race off - road on a variety of surfaces from high grip to very little grip.

What are the advantages to a bigger rotor?

Is there a dis - advantage?

Thanks for the help guys.

With a larger diameter:
-the rotor provides more torque and stronger braking
-increases natural drag braking - less air gap
-improves the motor’s initial throttle response (Acceleration) due to more mass in the rotor
-decrease in RPM (Top Speed) - due to more mass iin the rotor

Hope this helps

Thanks, Just wondering if there were any important differences other than what novak's site says, because in my opinion they were a little light on info.

Thanks though.
