Truggy gearing options

hi guys, i have my brushless truggy for a while now, tried out different setups, also with the gearing. looking for some advice on how to improve top speed. ill start with the specs:

mugen mbx5t prospec
geared: 46 spur / 16 pinion
5s 5000mah 30c lipo
tekin 1700kv
running on pro-line crimefighters

i dont have any higher pinions at the moment, but as of now i kinda getting the feeling for this car to race it well on the track. currently running on a 1:6 bigscale track, so the straight is a little longer than nitro tracks. when i strated the conversion i was looking for cool temps, long runtimes, and no crazy power.
im now at a stage that the car could use some extra topspeed (mayby only 6mph) im worried grabbing to a 18T pinion maybe isnt enough. but what are my risks with the 1700kv motor geared 46/18 or even 46/20?

maybe getting a 2000kv is a better option here, but after using the calculator it seems im getting more top with a 2000kv, but als on a higher rpm rate (37000) currently on 31000 rpm for the same top speed with higher gearing.

i see that different races here in the netherlands require a max of 4s lipo to enter, so in case i should switch to 4s, what kinda gearing are we looking at then. i know a 1700kv motor will not be enough in this case.

still looking for good tracktimes and a long lasting setup here.
could be that im just asking silly questions that are all in the safe zone of runnign temps, but i rather be sure.

hope you can help me out...

Gr ron.

I would say a higher kv motor would be fine; 30,000rpms is quite tame really, 37,000rpms is right in the happy-spot. You can always gear down the 2000kv motor if its a little fast for you, or perhaps try and locate a ~1800-1900kv motor ( not sure what tekin sells off hand ).
