Gearing question for GTP owners

I am trying to settle on pinion gear for my version of a GTP. What, if there is one, is the concensus on the pinion/spur combination that you all are running? Thanks and by the way I was currently running 15/51 but I now have installed 24/51.

It's all a matter of what kv motor you are running and how fast you want to go. I ran 16 to 18 t pinion on 51 t spur with CC 2200 on 6s (55 to 65 mph).

Exactly. Post more specifics about your electronics setup to get a better answer. Play around with the speed calculators to determine what will work the best.

He's using the HPI Flux 2200 motor (see it in the pic). If you run 6s you'll be pushing 90mph with the 24/51 gearing.
