tx differences ????

what is the difference between the dx3s and the dx3r ? there's a huge difference in price ! but what else is there ? help me out here guys cause ive tryed this 2.4 stuff before and couldnt get my tx and rx to bind correctly so i went back to my m8 and xxtra recievers . and now im looking at the dx3r , and then i come across a dx3s for a hell of a lot less

the dx3r is supposed to have slightly faster response time. i'm not sure what else it has.

the r has 30 model memory, the s has 10,
the r has 3 pos 3rd channel
s has the telemetry, and comes with 2 receivers.
at first the s wasn't dsm2, now they are compatable, I don't know if that means they are actually dsm2, or just will work with the receivers, I really don't think you would notice any difference anyway. For me it was a no brainer and I went with the s. I would do the same again, although I filled the 10 model memory up pretty quick. I am sure there are other differences, but these are the ones usually argued.

DX3R - DSM2, 5.5ms response
DXS3 - DSM1, 11ms response, smaller display. no idea if it is now dsm2 or just works with some dsm2 receivers using dsm1 mode

there is a huge difference between 11ms and 5.5ms if you race. it is not just slightly faster :)
