thank you sir, i have to call them because i did not look at this in time and now i already used a 30$ code, im wondering if they can give me store credit and add stuff to my order

JERRY2KONE 01.07.2010 06:48 PM

Hard

Kind of hard to do once your order is in and begins processing. Best just to complete a second order and use another $30 off coupon. Pretty much gives you the same discount anyway.

they had me do a second order with a credit card, then it credited 30 bucks, i thought since i called em the minute they opened i would be fine, but no go! they work fast!

I use the discount codes on every single order I place at Tower. It all adds up quickly when you look at the annual savings. I probably save near $60 to $100 every month with my orders. I wish every R/C place used that system of discounts for the $15 a year for membership. Most of them you have to reach a certain level of purchases in order to get any kind of discount. Kind of greedy on their part if you ask me. If their products are worth a damn then people would buy from them.

yea i saved fricken 60 bucks! now what other place offers something like that, towers prices are usually a little high but not after the discounts! im excited to get this car!

You say that Tower's prices are a little bit high?? Compared to what? I have been shopping around for 4 years in the R/C arena, and from what I have seen out there Tower offers the lowest prices around, and then when you get to add the discount codes onto your orders that is a hell of a deal. They are one of the few that can afford to do that because of the shere size of the company. I love all of the personalized gear that RCM sells on here, and the same with some of the other R/C sites out there. AMain, UE, Novak, Castle, RC4WD, and a host of others, but compared to the pricing on T/H I save a ton of money over the long haul by purchasing most of my gear at T/H. With the $14 annual membership I have saved approximately $400 to $500 a year in savings, and I get it cheaper than anywhere else. Just sharing the facts.

Myatomic.com has some pretty good prices, sometimes they are lower than tower but usually just about the same. They carry all the parts I have ever needed for my RC8T, CRT.5, RC18T, E-Revo, and E-maxx. They don't use discount codes but free shipping on orders over $25. I don't always need $150+ worth of parts to take advantage of the big savings with Tower. Towers savings are great though, esspecially when buying a whole vehicle. Bought a new E-Maxx in November for $325 to my door, last spring I paid almost more than half that for a used roller. Long story just to say that Tower is good but there are others out there that offer great services as well

JERRY2KONE 01.08.2010 10:41 PM

Sure.

Sure everyone has some level of savings, but none can compare to the savings on T/H. Oh and with that $15 annual membership fee you get free standard shipping on every order. Since I place orders every month that is a savings of about $120 to $150 a year on top of the discount codes. Their only real draw back is that there are items and brands that they just do not carry, because of issues with the manufacturers/suppliers.

maybe i dont look around enough, but i know the cost of the ve8 at tower is 2945, stormer has it for 259, i think amain might have been a little higher, the cost of a tekin motor at tower 165, stormer 139, amain 150, now of course its cheaper with the discounts and free shipping, but that what i meant about being higher

gixxer 01.08.2010 11:26 PM

I also find tower to be a little higher but do most of my orders there because of the codes. I also shop at amain because they carry kyosho and tower doesn't.

The cheapest place I have found with out codes is usually ulimatehobbies but there site kinda sucks.
