Hello grupe

Excellent! Welcome to RCM!

I like the trasmission- welcome :)

It would be cool to lay the tranny down on its side and mount the motor flat on the chassis.
|
Nice cnc work there. Did you do it yourself? What are you running for a power plant?

I can answer about the power plant. It is a Hobbywing ezrun 2350 combo.
Madsen please correct me if I am wrong. |
Hi Klausen
you ar completely right you know it :-) |
That is definately awesome work on the chassis, and tranny in particular. If I had my way, the tranny wouldnt have an idler gear as you just dont need it with BL powered vehicles- swap 2 wires around and the motor spins the other way, so no need for the idler. If you have your own cnc machine at home/ unlimited access to it, Im sure plenty of folks here will want to make good friends with you, me included... :mdr:

Was thinking the same Neil. He only needs the idler for spacing to provide spur clearance, but if he channeled/notched the chassis for the spur he could drop the motor down the same amount as the idler diameter and eliminate it.
Very nice work Madsen  |
Thanks for the nice words
I have thought about removing the center gear wheel
but then you have to use bigger pinon and less spun gear Due to space And no, I do not have a CNC, it is the job I have access to a cnc and 24 hours is not enough hours :-) to do something for other people I am sorry If you lay the tranny down on its side and mount the motor flat on the chassis disappear my idea that everything must be installed in the center to keep the car in balance engine in the center and 2 power pack one in each side |
