RCM CRT.5 to SCRT...

Anyone have a list of the parts needed by any chance and know what the difference in the wheel base is...

Our club are doing mod 4x4 SCRT 1/10 scale so looking at swapping this puppy over to the SC side...

I like the idea. I have a crt.5 roller laying around that needs body mounts etc...

It has the rcm extended chassis, wonder what else would be needed to get the correct WB?

What is the WB of a crt.5 with the rcm chassis? Mine is at work or I would measure it myself!

No idea mine is at home and I'm at the airport.

Work rather than vacation but airports always me thinking.

Well, my daughter's crt.5 is 12" wide by 14.5" long w/Mike's v2 chassis. My crt.5 has a 2" longer chassis homemade by me. Don't the FLM adapters lengthen the wheelbase a bit as well when running 1/8 wheels?

Here are the specs for the scrt 10

Specifications:
Length: 21"
Wheel Base: 12.75"
Width: 10.5"
Weight: 3.7 pounds (no electronics)

Chris, since you brought this up, I have been measuring my daughter's crt.5 and thinking of building my own chassis to the trucks length. I believe that the only difference between the crt.5 and the new truck is the length and everything else is a straight bolt on to the truck chassis....at least the front and rear ends go. Not 100% sure of this but, it is what I read in another forum

well if you wanna bring it to full size (sc10, blitz, slash, and hyper size) then youll need a chassis thats longer than mike's current chassis (he was talking about making these so we need to voice some interest) I also would like to see the chassis be slightly wider and use the mudguards off the 8th scale chassis, but not too wide incase we wanted to run the VE8 body and 8th scale adapters like we talked about mike!

along with the chassis youll need
-body mounts (you can buy the jammin ones or mod some slash rears)
-grey front slash 2wd hexs and pins
-slash front offset wheels (this offest along with the grey hexs will make it a full 11inches wide)
-the rear jammin scrt10 bumper and mount
-i suggest making your own front bumper setup out of a slash bumper because the jammin is junk.
- your choice of body (im holding out for the new JC manta bodies)

and bam youll have the hands down best 4x4 sc race truck

I seen in a X-RC that there is going to be a Ford Raptor body for the SC trucks, I will do one when I can find that body!

Looks like for those who use the Revo shock set up on their crt.5 they may need/want a little longer front shock set up..may be not
