Anyway, they really do work well, very little loss of traction. :yes:

They do seem to work extremely well, but can you imagine the damage one of those screws can do if they come off?!?! I wouldn't want to get hit with a sharp projectile going 40mph+! :oh:

I'm with you on that one, i can just see that thing running up someone's leg :gasp:

That's pretty awesome man. Depending on what type of head those screws have on them they may not even come out.

They are pan heads, I would have to blow the tire for one of those to come out.

Thats pretty cool ( no pun intended ), got a little bit wheel spin but plenty of grip too, just about right for some ice drifting..

The idea works very well... But I don't get why you would want to have traction on ice? If I want traction I will just drive on the road?

You may not get it because you don't have a huge lake almost in your backyard with no 'open' areas (road or grass in the winter) to drive around.

The partial traction makes it a different kind of fun to drive around, and being in the middle of a frozen lake is a very unique visual you can't get in the summer...

Just curious if you ask the same question of any RC car that drives in the snow with chains? They should probably just drive on a road also, huh???
