I build something different

I figured I do something with my parts and built something. I came up with this thing. Pan car parts and some tie rods. I need to built the rear swaybar and it will be done.

Next up I finished my new street warrior. It's a little 12 scale that will most likely run on laptop batteries and 21T sensored motor.

My LHS mentioned that they are going to run pinewood derby's. So I build me 2. The gray one is my son's that competed in his boyscout derby. It was one of the slow pokes.

Cool projects! I bet you can make those 1/12 scales really fly.

Here was our pinewood derby car for this years race, we took 1st place out of 52 cars and set track fastest record three out of four runs. No one could touch us. We were pumped!

Yea different for me at least. Bolink frame, fine design rear pod, truggy links, some old aluminum front wheels. The rear pod has springs, so it could move back and forth. Just the sway bar is needed to control the side to side motion. 32p spur mounted on an old bolink hub. Different than the CRC genx of mine.
