Beadlocks for the crt.5 on 2.2 tires...do they exist?

Tired of re-gluing my tires on my crt.5 and was wondering if someone makes bead locks that will fit 2.2 rims and are not super heavy

Try the Jconcepts Tense beadlocks or the Pro-Line Eight Shooters.

In looking at the Axial ones...It says the out ring is AL so am I to assume that the wheel itself is plastic?

Yes. Actually, the wheel bodies are plastic on all of these wheels I linked you to. That's what keeps them semi-light.

RC4WD has some sick looking all aluminum 2.2 beadlocks. Not sure how they'll fit though. Would depend on what hubs the CRT.5 has (can't recall).

I am looking for rims...not to take out a mortgage to buy them:lol:

I can surly see why they are excellent quality and very expensive

If you think those are bad, price out a set of DH Procomps and Bullet Weights for a crawler...

$58 for the base wheels (1pr)
$6 for wheel anodize
$6 for ring anodize
$15 for hubs

And that's for 1pr of wheels...2pr of wheels and 2 sets of bullet wheel weights is $226.
