How many use Bing?

You guys will be surprised, but I'm going to wait for a few answers first .

I hate Bing!! It brings up so much unwanted crap!

GOOGLE!!!!:party::party::party:

BrianG 02.23.2010 11:45 AM

Just the name is stupid. It's the noise I'd make if I flicked a tin pot. I'll stick with Google or Yahoo.

Ok, since we have a few who have answered, are you ready to be amazed? It might just be a stupid coincidence, but I was  when my daughter handed something over to me. We had Chinese food yesterday and she loves the fortune cookies. She always asks me to say the Chinese words and I was surprised. Disease in Chinese is 病 pronounced (bìng). I would love for anyone who knows Chinese to come here to verify this. This also comes up (疾) when you translate English to Chinese.

So there you have it folks, bing is a damn disease. Brian, you almost nailed this one .

BrianG 02.23.2010 12:55 PM

lol, that's funny. Since a disease can be a virus, does that mean using bing will give your PC a virus?

Seriously, the result set from a search on bing vs google vs yahoo are quite similar. Personally, I am so used to typing "yahoo" and then ctrl+enter that it is almost a single movement. So, I doubt I'm gonna switch now.

I use google. Not real fond of 'Google' the company..but they come out, like most companies, some dumb ideas but their search and mapping are great.

zeropointbug 02.23.2010 01:16 PM

Hah, that's funny... I tried Bing out, works alot different than a normal search engine that's for sure.

rawfuls 02.23.2010 07:54 PM

Bing....

But It's Not Google

I'm a google person, could never get used to type bing.com in everytime I wanna search something.

Finnster 02.23.2010 08:20 PM

Bing is der ghey. I try to avoid the nickle and dimers over at MS as much as possible. Google rocks, many things are free, and they are far more innovative than MS.

Can you get a bigger scan of that fortune Luciano? I really want a copy of it.. :diablo:

That did come out crappy lol. I'll see if I can get a better scan of it. BTW, who ever uses the lucky number and actually win the lotto, my daughter deserves a $$$ gift, that's her fortune .

RCShocker 02.23.2010 09:48 PM

Now let me know when "Bang" come's out & I'm there. That definately sound doable.

Until then I'll just Google.

Erevocanuck 02.23.2010 10:47 PM

Isn`t bing codeword for microsofts failed attempt at trying to do something after it`s prove that it can be done by someone else?

A good example of this is the is Microsoft 's Zune, spreadsheet any O.S. they make

asheck 02.24.2010 09:16 AM

I don't use it as a search engine. But I do use it for cashback. I've gotten around 70 back in the last year.
