Most powerful in what respect?

For it's size, most likely a top contender for most power.

Most powerful BL motor around? Not a chance. Neu also makes 1527's, 2215's, 2220's, 2230's, and 44XX series. Then big powerful 2-pole Lehners come in most sizes as well.

Are you looking to buy this to use it in a truck? or what application.

truck applications only....most powerful as in your not pushing the motor with 6s lipos.....you still have room to breathe guess you can say...I just saw on castle they have more motor choices saw the 1600kv version they claim is a chipped turbo diesal like. dont know what they mean by that...but I might get that.

how would you compaer it to the commerical 1515 2200kv one that they sell with the kit? I wouldnt mind getting one the 1520 like yours

A 1521 1y is a good step up for a heavier vehicle over a 1515, something that you want to gear faster than 40-45 or something with very heavy tires/wheels. I run 2 of them, 1 in a muggy and the other in a lst. Both on 6s, both geared for 45. Good motor temps, even on 95+ days.

I will say that the 1515 1t (cc2200) is a great motor for 5s, if you can gear it down to reasonable speeds. I ran a lst with this motor on 5s geared for 42 or so with truggy tires. Did very well.
