Small Block Race Maxx!
I was wondering what else i should do?
so far: Fastlane Lightweight (Stock Length) Chassis Fastlane Shock Towers(Just Ordered) Hitec Servo(not sure what kind...I think it's a 625 or so) Stock Throttle Servo TRX 3.3(Still being broke in...stripped orignal spur on truck on 4th tank) RRP SLipper COmbo Full MIP CVD's RB Turbo X15 exhaust Pro-Line Maxx Mulchers mounted on i believe wabash rims and will be running 9.5 threaded shocks(4x) only not 8! |
The only thing I see is finish breaking the motor in. It looks to be a pretty good truck. Even for nitro ;) Do you have a pic of it? I not sure that servo is going to have the power you need. Do you know the rating on it?

That servo is better suited for throttle/brake - its .94oz @.15 sec @ 6.0. If your sticking with hitec - the digital 5945 is better suited for the steering - i think its about 180oz at .13 or something real close. I know when i wanna turn - then i wanna turn now... LOL ( or you could go for the big boy in town - 5945 - 333oz at .15 - thats what im going to run - but that one is a little more pricey... Good luck.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, don't got for the 5945mg serie hitec's. Those will self destruct quickly for no reason. Mine did.(5945)
Get the 5955tg from Hitec. Best digital servo out there. Put's out 333 oz @ 6 volt's. I got one after my 5945 died on me and it is without doubt the best digital servo out there. Can take a serious beating. |
i agree with sneek. The 5955tg is one sweet servo. I have bought two and man it is nice. It turns so goodthat you think the tires are connected to the wheel on radio.

definately looks to be a very good race truck

I misposted - i meant the 5955 ( see the 333 oz in my post ) the damn keys are too close together - LOL
