rc8e or tecnorc?
i have a friend in lucky position of shopping for a brushless conversion for his nitro sc8. the associated e conversion kit seems good but for a simular price there is a tecnorc chassis. the associated kit seems to fit in well a would be easy to install.or is a complete chassis change worth it? would one be stronger than the other? i wanna help him out but i am not that versed in associated gear.i am a moooogen man:gasp:

I have just had the RC8Te from Associated, and was actually very pleased with it. It runs very good on 5s with the RX8/2000 combo. I sold it yesterday, not because I wasn´t satisfied, but because I bought a MBX6-T in stead.
I cannot comment on the Tekno kit, but I think AE have done a good job on their E-models, and the price is also fair enough. Here are some pictures of how my RC8Te looked: http://www.rcgalleri.dk/html/gal_vis...216&ipc=102993 |
