What esc?

Will you rather go with RX8 or MMM or new Hobbywing Xerun 150amp in a savage?I have the RX8 in a CRT and loving it.Also have the older ezrun system in my e-savage and also no problems there.

What will you run and why?

Also what motor and why?

In a savage...how about a 1520 cc motor w/the mmpro esc or RX8 w/a 5/6 s set up. You can't go wrong w/either esc IMO. If you want a sensored setup then I would go w/the RX8 w/a 1550 Tekin motor

The 1520 will have more than enough torque to push the savage around, heck my truggy loves the 1520 on 5s.

Ennie, meenie, minnie, mo....

I'd go MMM and 1518 on 5 or 6s lipo, or just 1515 on 4 or 5s.
Rx8 and one of the lower kv truggie motors on 5 or 6s lipo would also work great.
For a slightly cheaper option the XeRun 150amp esc and one of the lower kv hobbywing XL sized motors.

All three options should work perfectly well, all have their obvious pros and cons ( sensored vs sensorless, cheaper vs more expensive, customer support levels etc etc ).

I personally wouldn't use a MMPro on something that big. It might handle it, but would definitely be stressed. I would stick to an 8th scale ESC (MMM, HW150, RX8).
