Quick Battery and Neu 1521 1900kv

Going to run a MMM with 1900kv in my XXL geared for 45 on 5s.

Could I use the same 20-30c turnigy I use in my buggy?

Or 30C+ is needed?

What mah capacity are they?

Assuming they are 20c continuous and 30c burst, thats about borderline I'd say. Maybe do a few runs and monitor temps- if the lipos are heating a fair bit or the truck isnt quite as 'spritely' as you'd expect it to be, then opt for some 30C 5000mah lipos to give the truck some more go-juice.

Would want to watch for any puffing aswell.

Their 5000's, they work really well on my 1512 2.5d overgeared for 50 mph.

I will give it a shot, and we'll see. I'm sticking with 40mph max for the LST.

i've found that the turnigys and flightmax packs do much better in a high load application when you set the LVC at 3.4 or 3.5v/cell. my old, tired flightmax packs puff ever so slightly and get a little hot for my liking on 3.2v/cell in my flux, but are only slightly warm with the LVC at 3.5v/cell. i only lose about 30 seconds of runtime doing that.

my 20c 4s turnigy pack runs much cooler with 3.4 or 3.5 and since the voltage stays higher on it better than my flightmax packs, i lose almost no runtime and maybe 100-150mah compared to 3.2. i am up to about 75 cycles running it in my bl buggy and bl truggy (high load) and it is still firm with no signs of puffing at the end of the run (unlike my flightmax packs) and i still get about 4800-5000mah per charge. my turnigy 5000mah 20c pack actually has more punch and runs cooler than my 9000mah 28c+ SMC packs.
