Rx8 esc and broken case...
 
hi.. i have 2 rx8 esc with both case broken..

i mount they on a soft foam and lock it by tie zip...

but unfortunately, both broken... see pictures..


i check on forum, but it's like nobody have same problem.. :oops::oops:

could we check for a solution..

please let me know if someone had this problem , or how someone solve it (i've just mount a new case on buggy but this is the result after 2 race....same problem)

I am resurrecting an old thread here, but just to ask whether you mount the esc directly on the chassis or anything similar? I know it sounds stupid, but it seems that the way you do it puts too much stress on the case. Have you tried to mount it on a plate which sits on top of foam pad or similar? maybe you are just tie the zips too much and negate the foam flexibility in that way.
Another stupid thought is that some wires or something is constantly pulling the esc in some way under running conditions. It looks like lack of flexibility to me.

I've never seen a case broken like that.
