Another MMM died
 

Well my mmm v3 bit the dust yesterday.I was at the track making a few
pratice runs,when i notice it started to cog a little . I ran about three packs
throught it was running fine,then all of a sudden just stop.No lights no beeps
nothing.Then i can smell somthing burning,no smoke just the smell.I was running a flightpower 5000mah 14 volt 4s geared 12, 46. on my losi 8t.
Temps were,esc 126 motor,145.batt 110.Do you think it was running to hot.
I did remove the fan that went bad a few months ago,but was running fine
without it.I dont if the warrenty is still good on this mmm,should i send it
to castle for repair,and how much to repair it ,or should i just get anthor
one.If any one has one for sale,just send me a pm.

IIRC, a non warranty repair on the MMM is $70 and comes with another 1yr warranty. This would be a cheaper and better route than buying a new one. Only downfall is waiting. However they improved their repair process and seems to be running smoother and quicker.
