roll cages??
does anyone know of a roll cage that will fit on the FLM 3905 chassis?
|
nobody? ....yeah...this one was a hard one to find.
this one works on the flm just for future reference. i found a guy on the web that uses it with great results. http://store.vgracing.com/roll-cages...odel-3905.html i got it on ebay for $40. PEACE! |
I was never a big fan of roll cages,I use heavy duty 7075 roll BARS as it usually takes more hits than a bunch of smaller rods,I'm sure it'll look good on an flm maxx though!--Josh

stay away from the tube/solid rod roll cages. One good crash and its DONE. Bends up easily. Sometimes the brazed joints are not very strong.
I had to take mine off because itt just started to look hideous |
Has anyone ever used the rollbars from New Era?
I know the thin rod roll cages bend and break welds easy, but I was wondering if something like this would hold up a bit better. I don't need a full cage, but I have a high mounted 1521 in my savage that I'd like to have some protection for from roof landings. http://www361.pair.com/brideaud/newe...sv910mdx_a.jpg |

Bondo has one on his LST. The pics look like it can take a beating and hold up.

Paralyzed is running his lst maybe he has a few ideas on the places to get one

Paralyzed(harold) fit one of the RC-solution's NITRO cages on his 3906 FLM chassis. IIRC he just had to do alittle triming on the sides of the cage. It looked GOOD. I'll try to find it.
EDIT: FOUND IT! CLICK Shocker-->> it ends in an unexpected place. Noob infested, crazed mod infested, but safe. You guessed it. http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l..._/white007.jpg |
