My newest toy
Picked this up a couple of weeks ago from Minicatracingusa.com and was able to get it on the water this past weekend. It's a Velocity Mono; 17" long, brushless/3S Lipo.

Looks like a fun new toy!
I'm impressed with the video quality. Which camera did you use? |
Very high quality video! Looks like fun. I've been thinking about getting a boat for awhile now. Now I'm waiting for the new Traxxas boat so who knows when I'll get one!

I'm really glad you got one of those. I've been thinking about getting either the Cat or Mono for a long time.
What do you think about the electronics used? Basic HobbyCity type stuff? |

I like the cat, but the self-righting of the Mono is what sold me on it. It definitely works too as I flipped it on Sunday and it just bobbed back over. |
I was thinking the same thing, Cat is neater design, but Mono is more forgiving hull shape for beginners.
What capacity lipo you run? Doesn't it suggest like 1800-2000mah? Also, sent you a PM. |

60 amp esc? Figured a boat needs much higher requirements than that? Maybe drop a MMM combo in that bad boat!--josh
