My MMv3 is back, thank you Castle.
Hello, here it is, back from warranty repair, with the refurbish mention :yipi: :
http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/3127/mmv3refait.jpg As you can see, the support team soldered bullet connector on the plate for the battery and added new wires, there is a reason for it ? Anyway the Castle support team make this hobby very enjoyable, continue your good work and thank you. |
Castle opted to hardware the battery connectors - I believe this was to eliminate any risk of batteries being shorted if someone pulled out the leads.
My guess this was a "fix" for your model which has the sockets on the battery side. |
You mean Castle solder it to my plate or simply replace by an ESC with this connector ?
|
Depends on what your issue was - repairs/warranty ESCs can come back as a remanufactured unit - I've have this in the past.
|
I have only had one MMM failure and my replacement was labled new stock on the negative "black" battery wire.By the way, CASTLE CREATIONS has awsome customer service and support.
|
I found, once I had been through a castle after service it was hard to decide on another brand....too hard :rules:
|
Castle service is why I only have cc controllers and motors on all my rides..plus, they are top notch quality components
|
Hello,
Just to do an update, received my MM v3 (or v5?) from warranty today ! Thanks you Castle ! NuZ |
