MMP Blinking yellow neutral.

Should the MMP have a blinking yellow neutral light after you calibrate the Radio to the MMP.Alll works perfect except for a small initial lag from a stop I am running a Novac 4.5 smartsence setting on the MMP and the bec is set to 5.5 with a 2s 5000 30c batteries.:whistle:LVC is 3.2v.This is my 1st MMP but I have 4 MMM in use also.

I just swapped motors to a Neu 1512 2600 kv on 4s and now there is no hesitation. Its also set to smart sence. The yellow light is still blinking but it also is calibrated for fwd and rev and neutral spot on.The HV 4.5 I think on 2s is pulling a ton of amps causeing a slite hesitation.O well i wil ditch the HV 4.5.This setup is in a 10SC and now it hauls ass

Firmware 1.226 Mamba Max Pro / Mamba Max Pro One Cell ONLY:

Added support for ROAR spec class racing. Neutral LED flashes when controller is NOT running in CHEAT mode.

I had my MMP/4.5 setup out this weekend and was having an issue of it completely cutting out completely (1-2 seconds) on abrupt throttle input (bench and on the track). Very smooth trigger was keeping it under control but obviously something is up.

Conditions:

Slash 4x4 12/54 gearing
6V BEC
3.3 LVC
Smartsense
0 ESC timing
factory motor timing
0 punch

I switched to sensored mode for today and could not get it to cut out at all. I'd prefer to run smartsense mode though.

Could be the bec but not sure why it would only impact one mode.

Or could be the lcc hitting with SS pulling more amps.

Do you have a bec to try?

BEC was instantly my thought until I changed to sensored mode. Now I'm not so sure but am going to experiment with that.

I tried a few different packs with no change. Seems odd that it would not do the same or even notice hesitation in either mode if it were pulling too much. That brings up one thing that has me concerned. Novak factory mechanical timing on the motor. It seems high so that is something I am going to lower and see what happens.

I do not have a standalone BEC but plan on getting one just for reasons like this plus it's a nice piece of hardware to have around. One of the things on my "try list" is to pull the pos lead and run a rx pack to eliminate the BEC.
