Feigao Motor Brace

So Mike, whats the progress of the motor brace? I hope to get one around the same time i get my stuff back to prevent the back plate from poping off (happens a lot during a hard run). Do you have any pictures of it? When do you think the release date will be?

I should get a pair of prototypes today. If they work well, I will have them in stock next week. I will post a picture on the site when they arrive.

I noticed the brushless I ordered is heavier than the brushed motor I'm running right now in my Stampede. I did add a washer to the screws that hold the motor but will that be enough to hold the 8s motor or should I get a plate for it?

I would get a plate for it. I can see the plastic getting eatin up over time from the power.

Now once FLM releases the aluminum tranny case that would be the way to go.

The motor brace/heat sink will not fit in the small motor area of the pede, unfortunately. Fortunately, though, with the motor mounted sideways like it is in the pede, it becomes a lot less likely that you will experience any trouble.
