Mamba max pro esc, what motor?

Hello RCM(F) i have a slayer, and i wanna put some brushless in it:) I have a MMP esc laying around, but only small 540 size motor, that wont be great for the slayer.
My Question is: What motor would you recomend? are any from Http://www.hobbycity.com Good? if not, can i then run mamba moster motors with the mmp esc?

Please help me abit:)

Yes, I would run a CC 2200 on 4s.

I don't recommend hobbcity motors they are very hot. You can go for novak ballistic 550 or tekin's new releasing short course motors so your esc won't have any heat issues, you will have sensored advantages and enough power.

that was what i thourght.
But thanks:D
ps. i have mod'ed the fan so it runs of the BEC power:) so i hope it runs cooler

can i also use the xerun 2000kv motor with the MMP esc?

If you don't care about sensored drive A motor around 1600-1800kv with 5-6s would be a good choice too because of the efficiency and low amp draw. Probably a feigao 10xl(for 5s) or 11xl(for 6s) would be most cost-efficient motor if you're low on budget.

that motor should work just fine. the xerun motors are very efficient compared to their older motors. it won't be quite as good as a Castle 2200kv motor, but it will still run cool in your slayer.

you're fine as long as you don't gear too high. try to shoot for 35-40mph.
